Disneyland with Nana and Mama

We went to Disneyland this week with Nana and had a good time! Lily hadn't been there in awhile so we thought she'd love the rides and running around. But, the rides seemed to be a little too much for her to take in- no smiles for that part of the trip. :) Nana and Mama enjoyed the rides much more than Lil! She did love running around Minne's House and exploring there. She also had her first picture taken with a character, Alice in Wonderland, because there was no line to see her. :)

Yes, Lily is upset too that it's been almost a month since the last entry! What can I say, the first trimester of pregnancy, plus chasing Lil around made me too tired! :) So, I'm 15 weeks now, I'm done setting up my classroom, so I vow to blog AT LEAST several times a week again.

Lily is 16 months now and hillarious! She's "talking" up a storm now (we can't understand it really yet), loves to play legos with Papa, swim, dance, walk around with a blanket on her head, read, and hang out with her parents. She's such a happy little girl and such a delight!

Lily's big news

Yep, that's right, for those of you who hadn't heard yet, Lily is going to be a big sister around March 1st! Mama is about 11 weeks prego and can't wait to add another baby to the family! :) Papa is super excited too! Lily loves babies, so she's going to be the best Big sister, ever!

The "beach" in WA

Last weekend we went up to McKee's Beach in WA, with Papa's good buddy, Josh, and his wife Stephanie. The girls had a good time reading, talking, relaxing in the sun, and taking naps (when Lil was asleep). The boys had fun playing in the water, catching A crab which we ate one night with dinner, rowing in the boat, and tipping it over onto eachother (boys are weird). Lily loved exploring the grass, digging in the rocks/sand (WA beaches are rocky), splashing in the water, walking around with the sunhat covering her eyes (she loves playing peek-a-boo), playing in the boat (but not actually riding in it, b/c that required a life vest which she LOATHED), and making forts out of all of the lawn furniture cushions. It was nice to finally relax on our vacation in WA, before heading back home!
Lily did great on the drive home (actually took her nap), rarely cried, and fell asleep around 9:00. We took two days driving home (compared to the one LONG day up), so everyone was much happier. Lily is happy to be home, have all her toys and books, and her own bed! :)
