The Little Sponge

So, two weeks ago, Lily busted out doing "more", and "eat" in sign language! I know this is not normally anything special, kids do sign language all the time. BUT, I stopped doing sign language with her FIVE months ago! I started at 6 months, and by 1 year she was still doing NO SIGNS, and starting to say about 10 words, so I thought, guess my stubborn girl is NOT going to do sign language. So, I quit, and so did Lily, or so I thought. I guess babies really are little sponges like everyone says. :)

Last week Lil and Mama went to hang out with Great G & G and Grandpa, aka Papu (or Grandpa Poopoo, as Mama likes to call him). Lily had a great time wearing Papu's scary hair hat, that Papu SWEARS people cannot tell is fake until he takes it off, and then they ask where he got it?! Weird. I guess it's better than a Toupee, although I personally think it looks like a scary porcupine, sorry Pop. Lily thinks it's another stuffed animal. :)

Bath Fun

Our 17 month old is STILL in the baby bath tub! These are recent pics from daddy doing Lil's hair. Look out Auntie Fred, here comes Papa, the new hairstylist in the fam! :)

The Duck Park

Last weekend we went to the park near our house for a walk and to play. Lily loved the ducks, and they loved her too, until they realized we had no food for them. :) She had the best time sliding all by herself for the first time, and swinging!

We went to Disneyland this week with Nana and had a good time! Lily hadn't been there in awhile so we thought she'd love the rides and running around. But, the rides seemed to be a little too much for her to take in- no smiles for that part of the trip. :) Nana and Mama enjoyed the rides much more than Lil! She did love running around Minne's House and exploring there. She also had her first picture taken with a character, Alice in Wonderland, because there was no line to see her. :)

The Dancin' Queen

Here's our sweet baby boogin' down! :) She just started last week to dance to EVERYTHING! Even if we're just singing "Twinkle, Twinkle", she starts to move.... so cute! :)
