The Wheels on the Bus

One of Lily's favorite songs is currently "The Wheels on the Bus".  She has a little portable CD player in her room which she knows how to put the CD's into, turn on, press play, and turn it up FULL BLAST to enjoy her favorites (other favs include: Old McDonald, and the ABC's).   Mama and Papa really enjoy when she says, "more, more" after each playing of the song, and makes us listen to it AT LEAST 3-5 times in a row.  We spared you the replaying of the song, you just get a piece of it. :)   Also, you'll see Lily is quite the talented dancer, which she gets from her Auntie Fred and Auntie J. :)   Normally Lil loves to dance with her Minnie Mouse or Pooh Bear, but this one she's just solo.

Five Christmases

Celebrating Papa's 32nd bday (we got in our new pj's and looked at Christmas lights after dinner).

We had a busy Christmas season visiting all of our family.  Lily had a good time playing with cousins and family members and opening 1-2 presents at a time.  We do three main presents for Lily each year representing the gold, frankincense, and myrrh brought by the wise men to the young Jesus.  Papa made Lily's gold gift, a beautiful toy test.  We got her bedding for her new crib, and a Tink dollie (her new favorite, thanks to Nana and the movie).

Giving Thanks ( a little late)

This year we have much to be thankful for! God has blessed us with: Lily, who is such a little joy, so full of spunk and learning new things everyday, new baby brother coming soon, good jobs, family, friends, and so much more. :)

Lily is thankful for her comfortable Papa. Papa is thankful for naps after yummy turkey.

First Haircut

Lily had her first haircut when we visited Auntie Fred a couple of weeks ago. She was a good girl, sat still on Mama's lap, and looked at the pictures on the camera while Auntie trimmed away. Here she is afterwards wit her first "bob", per Papa's request. :)

More pumpkins

So, this post is quite long overdue b/c Lily's Mama is too busy making quilts and hair bows for an upcoming Xmas boutique. These are pics of Lil and cousin Isaiah from the end of Oct. Isaiah had a great time, Lily was not so happy to be at her second patch in a week. :) She did enjoy the petting zoo at this one!
